Yoshirolla Kilomantra Update

Firstly let me state this publications utter distaste and disregard for the evil which is Ask.com – I have determined that they have incredibly irrelevant results. In fact in a number of test searches, results turned out to be 40% error pages that do not even exist.

Yahoo is starting to love the Yoshirolla Kilomantra News again, as we are a reliable source of consistent information on pretty much nothing of importance.

Top of the charts in google yet again, with many, many, results showing up on page 2. Including:

Many thanks to the wonderful people who have linked to me through out this interesting experience.

MSN, you have always known what is up for Yoshirolla Kilomantra. For that I applaud you.

Yoshirolla and Yahoo Sitting in a Tree

Yahoo, I really like you. I do. I’m not just interested in pleasing Google, I pay a lot of attention to you and what you think of me; Definantly leagues ahead of Ask or Live. Why do we have such a roller coaster relationship?

I’m in your good graces (top 5) for a few months, I keep building good content, videos, and such — then quite suddenly I’m down two pages? So what gives?

This is really starting to seem like a one-way relationship, Yoshirolla Kilomantra is really important to me. Lets communicate and find a mutual resolution.

With only a few weeks left, we expect the competition to really heat up. It will be interested to see if Laura can hold her top spot with all her SES learnings.

Best of luck.

Yoshirolla Kilomantra Google Discussion Group

In an effort to provide some more discussion on Yoshirolla Kilomantra SEO techniques I decided to create a Google Discussion Group, now while some might say it is just another related page which I control, it would be nice to make use of it.

Futhermore I pose the following question to anyone up for discussion.

This news site (I) have focused mainly on content creation, ensuring there is lots of information involving this contest specifically – while many others have just setup a page, and are focusing on link-building to raise its relevance.

What is better in the long run? Where Yoshirolla Kilomantra not a contest, does consistent content, blogs, and articles based on a site matter? Obviously the answer from many people is yes, but lets perhaps explore how the different methods could be blended.

What is Yoshirolla Kilomantra?

We all know what Yoshirolla Kilomantra is with respect to it being a competition, but it is very interesting to look at what it means overall.  I plan for this to be a three part article on some of the trends and happenings within this SEO competition and their ramifications.

First up, what is wrong with this competition?

Now this might sound like a  bad question to ask, but what about the competition might we be ignoring, or what could be skewing our results. The primary answer is right in front of us – it is the fact we have announced Yoshirolla Kilomantra as a contest period.

It doesn’t take much for one to learn the nature of Yoshirolla Kilomantra if searched, but it does open up some doors which would not be possible in client based SEO campaigns.

The perfect example is many of the interesting and creative inbound links, while forum posts are definitely in the realm, could TV fan site’s link to Yoshirolla on multiple pages and in footer navigation if it was totally unrelated? Is that plausible within the scope of a client based execuation SEM? Somehow I don’t think so.

It then begs the question, what would have happened if Yoshirolla Kilomantra had been a product someone needed to sell for a client – would that client care about where those inbound links were coming from? And the relevancy of those links?

Furthermore what of the location of our pages? As a challenge to myself, the home of my bid for competition was a previously un-registered wordpress account – not a previously established web site. So again, if this were a product, would we be able to attach it to an un-related domain?

In my next article I will try and focus more on the specific techniques and trends competitors are using to rank for Yoshirolla Kilomantra.

Until then,
Michael

Yahoo! Throws down the Yoshirolla Kilomantra Love

Even if it might end short-lived, the Yoshirolla Kilomantra News is currently sitting pretty at top-spot in Yahoo.com search results. I couldn’t be more proud of this blogs progress in this competition, feeling quite vindicated that you can (in fact) create a new web page with no existing pagerank, and work very hard to compete with others who are using existing sites which are trusted and get indexed more frequently

Thus far I am achieving my personal goal of learning more about SEO through the Yoshirolla Kilomantra contest.

Creeping up in Yoshirolla Rankings

I couldn’t be happier with the SEO progress of Yoshirolla Kilomantra News. Currently when searching for Yoshirolla Kilomantra on Yahoo, we’re in 4th place, on MSN we’re now in second place, with nothing in ask.com, and a few bites in Google.

Firstly I feel the need to comment on how slow/terrible the results which Ask.com pulls for this keyword. In terms of finding relevant content for Yoshirolla Kilomantra, it is doing a very poor job, unless Lisa is doing Ask.com only marketing for all her TV drama related sites.

Our Yoshirolla Kilomantra flickr page hasn’t hit the radar yet, so I’m really hoping that I will soon.

Yoshirolla Kilomantra Update

It looks like I have a fan, or at least someone who has decided to take my approach to the Yoshirolla Kilomantra contest, though I’m not quite sure who it is. Naturally any good subject, even one such as Yoshirolla Kilomantra, needs competitive news coverage, so I welcome my new(s) competition.

The google results for Yoshirolla Kilomantra seem to be in flux around our main leaders, constantly switching between Dave Hamel, Joseph Dee, Lisa Wong, and Laura Callow. Meaning that the competition between them is getting fairly steep.

Something which is of great interest to me is the progress made by my SEO Noob video posted to YouTube. It has done exceedingly well in getting picked up in the rankings. Thus you can expect more to come — sadly I would be ashamed to do anything with poor production quality, so I’m putting more into my Yoshirolla Kilomantra Seo Noob Series than I really should.

It is strange how Yoshirolla Kilomantra is pulling up such different results for Yahoo, Ask, Google, and MSN Live. Though the clear winners seem to be the link builders with Yoshirolla Kilomantra on previously established web sites at this point.

Established Sites winning the Yoshirolla Kilomantra push

Currently in this high stakes competition for the keyword Yoshirolla Kilomantra sites which existed prior to the competition with high page rank and frequency of crawling seem to be doing better.

This is not to squelch the excellent link building campaign which has been done, but one must ask is that fair? What if Yoshirolla Kilomantra was a product? Or a new service, or movie? How would a company just attach that to an existing site?

On some levels they couldn’t, while at the same time they want to rank up really quickly.  So this leaves two options for Yoshirolla Kilomantra, things will be better for the less regognized sites which google will slowly see as more viable sources of information — or the larger sites will build up so much momentum that they claim total victory over Yoshirolla Kilomantra.

Either way we’ll see in the weeks and months to come.
